LUEHRS’ IDEAL RIDES AWARDED OUTDOOR AMUSEMENT BUSINESS ASSOCIATION’S "CIRCLE
OF EXCELLENCE"
Luehrs' Ideal Rides has been awarded the Outdoor Amusement
Business Association's "Circle Of Excellence" award for 5 years.
Luehrs' Ideal Rides is the only carnival in North America
to receive four Outdoor Amusement Business Association "Circle Of
Excellence" awards in 2007.
In 2005, Luehrs' Ideal Rides was awarded their first
"Circle Of Excellence" award. This year, Luehrs' Ideal Rides was awarded
four awards. One each for their corporate office, rides, games and food.
Luehrs' Ideal Rides received these prestigious awards for 2007-2011.
An extensive audit was conducted by an independent firm at
the Decatur County Fair in Greensburg, Indiana, in July. The full spectrum
of audit issues cover such things as overall image and perception of the
business operation from the public's viewpoint, personnel issues, ride
operations, food and game concessions, compliance with regulatory matters
and transportation. |

Reduce- Reuse-
Recycle- Respect
We all know there
is something we can do to help our environment. The real
question is what can we do to help?
We, at Luehrs’
Ideal Rides have decided to start helping in our own way. We are
developing a plan for the years to come and in 2010 we will put
this plan into action.
Having fun means
tons of trash. Literally. Keeping that in mend, we have taken a
few simple steps to eliminate waste. In 2010, we are focusing
our attention on plastic, paper and cardboard.
Our plan is
simple. We need to rid ourselves of plastic and paper that we do
not TRULY need to use. Also, we need to recycle the plastic,
paper and cardboard that we do use. You will notice these
changes on our midway in 2010.
We cannot become
"green" overnight, but every small step we take is a step in the
right direction. We look forward to working with all of you on
this mission. |
